A quick update from me tonight as I reflect on a rather important milestone for me.
I never thought I would have got this far and been this committed and driven to completing this little side project of mine. There has been ups and downs and even failures along the way but these little stumbles have helped me grow and get, as bad as it sounds, accustomed to failure – something I am not comfortable with in my every day life.
Coming from an IT professional background where the cost of failure is… quite substantial I see the little slip ups I make on here as ways I can get used to things not going to plan. But tonight is not a reflection of the missed self-made and driven commitments (such as a PDF zine every week this year; I think I am 4 short now) but looking at what I have achieved.
Tonight marks 2 years since I started and it happens to be just after another milestone of mine.
Two years I have been on this journey and for 605 nights in a row I have posted content. Considering that I have Only missed (I think its 2 nights in total) that puts it into perspective.
So tonight I look at the backlog, the future and what I have accomplished over 2 years of writing here and the mammoth effort of 605 nights in a row!
