Koyko Harimasu

Kyoko struggles to convince Lord Teng of their innocence in the matter of the lost Mare. When she realises that she is in danger her immediate thought is to try and escape without having any of her companions lose their lives.

Elizabeth “Lizbet” Scaulder

Liz and Takeo head off ahead of the group to make it to Kyoko’s home.

Siu

Siu defends the party and Kyoko with his life the entirety of this adventure – in the end using the curse that he received from the Shadow to his advantage in cutting down those who wished Kyoko harm. Although in the end it does cost him his life.

Choi Fang

Choi wishes to defend Kyoko with his life. Given a second chance by her to join her ship and sail to another land to change his life and move away from crime. Once he realised that the people of the fort were against Kyoko he started to see the blessing in his curse and use it to his advantage. Sabotaging the soldiers weapons and armour as well as scouting and finding out the intention of those in the fort is made easy with his curse.

Captain Kuang Ping

Quick to jump to his wards defence he is nearly impossible to provoke into reckless action. Kuang never leaves Kyoko’s side during the confrontation but in doing so leaves most of the fighting to the party as he helps Kyoko retreat from the room.

Teng Toshio

Lord Toshio is the loyal to his wife and the plans that his family is concocting with The Shadow he happily offers Kyoko shelter whilst laying a trap for her and her companions for when his wife returns.,

Yukri Toshio

Once a fair and sought after daughter to a lord she was tricked and turned into a Yuki-onna, spirit who controls the cold – a frost maiden. Setting her sights on an alliance with the Toshio Family at the command of The Shadow she commands the many of the ground troops and even has been given authority over some of the lesser Oni clans.

Discovering that the Kyoko heiress is in her halls she doesn’t hold back in commanding her husbands, Teng Toshio’s, family guard and elite mercenaries to try and kill Kyoko and her companions as she will not tolerate another princess with a claim to power.

Lucian

Lucians natural blood lust and hatred of the Harimasu family already makes him a prime candidate for Yukri’s charming effects but he is devoted to the queen second only to her husband.

Throwing himself into his duty to impress and prove himself to his Lord and Lady he is an expert in martial weapons and a brutal killing machine when his orders match his fury.

Ruben

One of the newer and younger into the Toshio’s house guard he rides With Lucian – both of who were hired (or purchased as slaves) by the Toshio family to guard the keep and in doing to the Lotus.

Not as jaded or hate filled towards the Harimasu family he is extremely confident in his ability but hold no animosity to anyone other than the spirits and their shadowy puppet master

Hana “Sasha”

A mute girl who works in the Toshio household – a familiar face to some she goes by the given name of Sasha and can be seen following and watching the Harimasu heiress and her party of adventures from the shadows.

Hana is actually the cousin of Kyoko and since Yukri – the Yuki-Onna enchanted the family, its soldiers and servants she had been cursed to have no voice and to have everyone forget who she is. Quietly looking for a way to escape she helps her cousin escape and wishes to return back to her family to aid them in the war to come.
