Brazen Wolfe Tabletop – 2024 Christmas Message!

Thanks everyone for joining me for another year. While I continue to work on the end of year Zine I wanted to take a short break and to say thanks for another year. This little side project of keeping my brain creative while working in a very regimented and non-creative environment has been a great outlet for me for the last three and a bit years.

Tonight also marks 1090 nights posted consistently, some had some uploading problems and were delayed an hour or so, but I wanted to also reflect on the next twenty one days and what 1111 nights in a row will bring for the blog and me.

So if you’re a regular or someone stumbling upon for the first time feel free to reply to this post and let me know what you would like to see more of!

I have a few other game systems that I am keep to get going and add more content for and, looking at the stats, it seems that there is a big kick for Age of Sigmar 4. So don’t forget that you can always let me know in the comments below if this is something you’d like to see more of!

Dice-ember 2024 Holiday Adventure!

The first day of December means that I can start work on the Dice-ember 2024 Holiday Adventure! This year we have a pretty big one with over twenty additions to this years adventure. Tomorrow we start off with the larger plot for this adventure itself for all of December!

So sit down, grab a cup of seasonal beverage and let’s look at the theme for the next 25 days!

The world emitted a collective sigh as they prepared their homes with festive anticipation, as each town and village in civilised lands prepared for the grand celebrations of the Red Lord’s season of thanks and joy. Streets and homes had strips of red cloth drifting in the breeze calling for the Red Lord’s favour in this season. The air began to be filled with the smells of baking and smoking as they reaped the bounty of their harvest and preparations for not only the festivities but also for the seasons ahead.

It was traditionally a time when kindness reigned, and many humanoid races engaged in peaceful treaties so that their clans, families and people rested and took a moment to rest.

In the days leading up to the celebration, people would traditionally visit the grand temples dedicated to their gods and offered a small offering to The Red Lord, offering prayers and blessings so that they would be seen as fit for his favour and good will. His priests, clad in robes of crimson, would chant hymns of gratitude and hope, their voices resonating with the divine presence of The Red Lord.

Yet, as this holy season approached an unsettling silence began to creep into the gatherings of priests of The Red Lord. The priests’ once vibrant chants grew quieter, their connection to The Red Lord fading inexplicably. Whispers of concern spread through the congregation as prayers went unanswered and the offerings of baked goods and mead left unconsumed.

The joyous preparations continued outwardly, but a shadow of doubt lingered in the hearts of the civilised worlds. Families gathered around hearths and shared their worries in hushed tones, wondering why the priests had stopped singing loudly. Despite the decorations of celebration an unspoken fear gnawed at the edges of their celebration.

Rumours on the streets continue for the next few days and eventually the Red Lord’s priests have disappeared entirely. Several priests from other religions appear to be frantically visiting the town hall where hushed whispers speak of missing gods, dark tidings and a potential murder in the cities midst.
